Santa Barbara Trip

This month, I went to Santa Barbara with one of my best friend, Sherry and her boyfriend, and her mom. The first day afternoon, we arrived Santa Barbara Mission. We came here 4 years ago, and we do love it. It is a preaty place, but when we arrived(4:30pm), there was a "Misa"(let me know if it is wrong) processing, and we are not available to visit the church. We still took many pictures over there, and it is really a beautiful place to go.

After we left Mission, we went to a restaurant. The amazing thing is Sherry found out the restaruant we went 4 years ago. We still remember we had great foods and a great time over there, and we believe we would enjoy it again.( You can check pictures here).

The hotel we live is pretty too. Before we took a rest, we took some pictures in the lobby.

One of the main point of this trip is to check out the winery in the movie (Sidewalk). We went to FireStone, and we had a wine taste over there.

Frankly, I don't really know how to taste red wine, but this time, after the wine taste, I know more about the wine taste. I can tell the differnce between wines. Some of them are drier, some of them are sweeter, and some of them are spicey. I do like sweet and spicy wines. Of course, I took 2 bottles with me when we left. ^_^..

Anyway, it is always good to travel with good friends. I enjoyed this trip very much.

Merry X'mas

Dear my friends,

Merry X'mas! How is your vacation? Having fun? This year, I went to Lake Tahoe with my friends, Carol, Griffen, Helen, Peter, Philphs, Yibin, and myself.

We ski and snowboard for one whole day in Heavenly. The snow condition was not really good when we snowboarding. Because the strong wind of the mountain, they closed most of the lifts. Only 1 lift opened in the Stagecoach Lodge, and 1 lift opened in Boulder Lodge.

Griffen and I took shuttle bus from Boulder to Stagecoach. We would like to try higher level. Because the hard ice in Scorpion woods (black dimand road). I got some congestions, and my ass is really hearts..@_@... But, overall I still have fun there.

After one day snowboarding, my friend and I went to jaccuzi. It was so nice. When you lied on the hot water, the snow falled on your face. Looking at the snow flied on your face. It really nice. In the jaccuzi, we felt so relax. It recovered all our body. We felt so good. After jaccuzi, we went back to our room for dinner.( Thank you for Carol and Helen, they made perfect dumpings for us.)

When we get up on the next day, the snow in front of our door is almost 2.5 inches. All our car is covered by snow. This is my first time seeing this kind of view. It is sooooo cool..^_^.... In the early morning, Carol, Peter, Griffen and I went to jaccuzi again. We did some carry things, such as lied on snow for few seconds... it is soooooo cold, and after we jump back to hot tub. Our skin felt painful a little bit. @_@....

In the end of the trip, we went to a harbor next to Lake Tahoe and took pictures over there. After I have my friends' pictures, I will put them up, too.

During this trip, there are many firsts in my life.
1. First time to try black dimand trip(snowboarding).
2. First time to have jacuuzi when snowing. (mention this becasue it really romatic and I do love it.)
3. First time to see the snow all cover the house in the morning.
4. First time to travel Lake Tahoe.
